Made a solo run up to the campground to see what the trail looked like since it's been awhile since I've been up there. The road itself looks good, a few culverts need some cleaning. Very little brushing is needed below the communications tower, but a lot of brushing is needed after the tower, a lot.

Definitely a wet trip. It was a heavy drizzle once I got on the trail, got worse the higher up I went. I had some texts back n forth with Greg Hoffman of the SBNF. Sent him a short trail report & a couple of photos. He was happy to hear about the trail. I'll get a report posted to the Yahoo Groups for the SBNF once I get access to it again.

Nice report.
How far back do you cut the brush?

No brushing got done. I was by myself & there was a heavy drizzle & was wet enough on my left side. Being so long since I've been up there, it was more of a re-con run.

Is there a standard you will work to when the time comes?
