Per Tom Maricella's scout "Norburg" will need the following looked at on the work day:
brakes I hear something rear There are a set rare shoes inside the back
left hub won’t turn right hub is tight
F R spring broken clamp
Needs rear seat mounting plates
Door locks won’t stay up
Needs a steering stabilizer
Sometimes it won’t start and park
Holes in the floor pan

does she have a stabilizer?
not starting in park may be because the trans isnt actually in park. cable adjustment maybe.
holes in floor pan are the least of the rust problems she has. body mounts are completely rusted out. if the holes are too breezy, a couple tubes of RTV can seal 'em up for short term, but the truck needs major surgery.

Hello all I'm the new guy, wondering if it will be OK to meet up with some of you at this Saturdays work day in the afternoon. Very interested in joining even though my scout needs a little more TLC & parts before it hits the road. I did meet up with one of the members at Farmer Boys in Riverside back in Oct. Hoping to see you this Sat.

I live in upland! Would like to stop by and say hello. Need a trailer to bring my basket case with me. Currently dealing with removing the original spring bushing sleeves from the frame mounts, not going well.
