If you have a trailer

#1
I’ve had my trailer now for 4 years or so. I have checked the wheel bearings from time to time, adjusting the brakes, etc. Finally got around to putting brakes on the front axle (holy crap what a noticeable difference). While doing this, I noticed how worn the shackles were. I had to replace the bolts, bushings & the shackle plates.
So, if you’ve had your trailer for a while, might want to do some preventative maintenance. Might be surprised at what you find

Did it already have brakes? I want to swap the axle under my wood trailer for one with brakes. I’ve located them, just need the right time to make the purchase. You know.......... priorities.
