No problem on checking thread size, my truck engine is apart right now. the sending unit was laying loose on the wagon.

John, he's talking about teeing into the oil pressure to create a fail safe to keep from ruining the engine. A pressure loss would kill the fuel pump. Good idea really.

I got the other block to the shop Friday afternoon, he liked what he saw so far. It's not bored over, and was stored with oil in the cylinders. Crosses fingers.

Did you get any movement when you very first tried the switch? Or nothing at all? When I first put my truck back together I had the linkage on the motor 180 degrees off, the motor ruined itself trying to push the wipers down into the windshield rubber seal, instead of up. If that's not the case, try...

Block is no good. Apparently one of the rods hit the block near the oil pump, and cracked it. Looked good until magnaflux. I already have another one half way torn down, I hope to get it to the shop before the weekend.
