Every year on the 2nd weekend of August guys that have IH trucks and live within a few hours of Pismo go there for weekend of camping. This year the dates will be Aug 13th to Aug 15th.
It is just that simple, there is not a lot of information, flyers etc to pass around. They camp right on the beach down near the end and anyone is welcome to join. You will need a camping permit! Get it in advanced, you don't want to get up there and see the Campground FULL sign. Make your camping reservations at least 2 days in advance by going to Reserve America There is usually someone there from Wednesday to Monday. It is not an organized event per say. People show up, set up camp, hang out, go wheeling etc etc. Hope to see some new faces this year. Art work by LibertySand..
