Scouts West is a group of people who are interested in trucks (4x4 and 2x4) made by International Harvester. Some of these models include the Scout, Scout 80, Scout 800, Scout 800a, Scout 800b, Scout 810, Traveler, Travelall, Travelett, 1010, 1110, 1210, 1310 and the SSII. Some custom models include the Midnight Star, Patriot. If Mopar and IH had gotten together back in the 70 they may have built the SSIIGTX, (a SSII with a 440 cubic inch engine). Skoutoberfest at Lost Lake CA
Oktober 9th - 11th, 2015

Once again it is time for the annual gathering of the IH vehicles out at Lost Lake Resort for some fun along the river. Bring your rafts and coolers for some river floats or just jump in on some of the scenic wheeling tours to such fine locations as the Desert Bar and the Parker Strip... Whatever you chose to do it's always a fun weekend getaway with plenty to do and see!
There are full hook up campsites right along the river on the point so bring your RV or trailer or if you prefer to tent camp restrooms and showers are right there. A bunch of sites will be set aside for us along one row that are nice large spots that share a nice common grass area behind them.

The parks address is below but it's basically 31 miles north of Blythe on Highway 95 so you can come it a couple of different ways. Hope we can get this back to the large group we had in the past and have some fun! This year Sonora Desert IH Club will be joining us again!

Another great Beach Party! Even the rain and thunderstorm couldn't shake Scouts West away from the beach. Willie and Fritz grilled up some amazing food and again there was to many left overs to speak of. Thanks to all the wood we had a fire that burned to keep all us sand crabs warm. Cant forget to mention the Epic bike ride in the morning. Candles were lost, bellies were stuffed and more memories made with families and friends!
